Generous Diva in Dion

We all know how great a songstress Celine Dion is but what most do not realize is how generous she can be.

The story began when three diehard fans of the crooner, Linda Sanders, Lyn Cochrane and Barbara Lake spent their savings to fly out and see Celine Dion in concert at Vegas in the year 2006. The unfortunate trio failed to catch her at the Las Vegas Caesar’s Palace after the French Canadian singer pulled out during the last minute.

They further suffered misfortune when a concert organizer went bankrupt after taking their GBP540 ticket fees. Celine Dion’s UK-based publicists came to know of the luckless women’s story and conveyed the story to the diva herself.

Dion later on surprised the trio and presented “special VIP tickets” to an upcoming London gig. Needless to say, they were absolutely thrilled to the core!

“We had no idea someone like her would be interested in people like us!” one of the women exclaimed.
