With 2 recent expansion teams that finished in the Top 4 this season, MLB is wasting no time in considering this success as a reason for expansion. No better reason could be found to further the cause of MLB’s expansion than the success of the Diamondbacks and the Rockies. Colorado came into the MLB in 1993 with Arizona 1st season being in 1998. After more than a couple of lackluster years, both teams made significant runs toward a WS Championship last year.
