Boston has defeated the Indians, 11-2, to reach MLB’s World Series. The Indians had led the best-of-seven ALCS, 3-1, before the Red Sox won 3 straight. In the decisive Game 7 that was held yesterday at Fenway Park in Boston, the Red Sox opened a 2-0 lead early in the match. The Indians pulled to within 1 run. But with 3-2 in the 7th inning, The Red Sox rookie 2B Dustin Pedroia blasted a 2-run home run to seal the win. The player drove in 3 more runs in the 8th inning. On Wednesday and Thursday, the Red Sox hosts the NL champion Colorado in the 1st two matches of the World Series.
