Day by day new transactions are being made in the world of baseball. And yesterday was not an exception. The Baltimore Orioles of the American League named Rick Kranitz their new pitching coach; and the Toronto Blue Jays promoted Anthony LaCava to assistant general manager. In the National League, the Washington Nationals named Marteese Robinson east coast cross checker and Kerrick Jackson area scouting supervisor. Jeff Zona was promoted to special assignment scout.
